Step 1: Make sure your email address is up to date
From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
Select Profile & account from the menu.
Double-check that your email address is correct. If you need to update it, select Edit profile.
Step 2: Check spam and junk folders and other email filters
Check your spam and junk folders, as well as any inbox filters, just in case emails from Slack are being sent there.
Step 3: Allow emails from Slack
Ask your IT team or email service provider for help if your email system is flagging Slack emails. They might want to check that emails from firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com aren’t being blocked.
Troubleshoot specific emails
Ask the sender to confirm that they sent your invitation to the correct email address. They can always send you a new invitation if necessary.
Tip: Are you a workspace owner or admin? You can see pending invitations at my.slack.com/admin/invites. Click Invite new members to send a new invitation to the correct email address.
