Remove apps and custom integrations from your workspace

How to remove an app or custom integration depends on who built it and how it’s configured. We’ve put together this handy guide to walk you through everything you need to know.

The basics

  • Third-party apps and Slack-built apps
You can remove them entirely from your workspace or disable individual authorisations (third-party apps) or configurations (Slack-built apps). This also includes workspace apps.
  • Custom integrations
You can disable a custom integration for your entire workspace or delete individual configurations.
  • Permissions
Workspace owners can choose to restrict who can manage apps and custom integrations. If you don’t see the option to remove something, contact a workspace owner or admin for help.

Note: You can only remove an app or custom integration from a private channel if you’re the person who added it.
