Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) — also known as Mobile Device Management (MDM) — gives your organization more control over how the company’s apps, networks, and devices are used and accessed on mobile devices.
If your company has turned on mobile security settings for your organization, only approved mobile devices will be able to access workspaces on your Slack Enterprise Grid.
Mobile security for your device
If your company recently turned on mobile security, you will receive an email and a Slackbot message with details about how to set up Slack for EMM on your device.
Slack for EMM instructions
iOS 9 or later
Install the Slack for EMM app from your mobile security provider's marketplace.
* Slack for EMM is not available for Windows Phone.
What to expect
Members who follow the instructions in the section above can continue working in their workspaces without interruption. If not, members will have 72 hours to set up Slack for EMM before they are automatically signed out of their mobile devices.
