Set the default language of a workspace or organization
Choose the Slack app’s default language for members of your workspace or Enterprise Grid organization. Only email invitations, SCIM-synced profiles, and Slackbot announcements in public channels will display in the default language; everything else in Slack will be determined by members’ individual language preferences.
Note: In the future, we’ll consider additional languages for the Slack app. Stay tuned! 📻

Workspace Owners and Admins can set the default language for their workspace. Here's how:
From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
Select Administration, then Workspace settings from the menu.
Next to Workspace Language, click Expand.
Select a language from the menu.
Org Owners and Admins can set a default language for every workspace in their Enterprise Grid organization.
This is the language the Slack app will appear in for any new members or workspaces added to the organization; however, it will not override members' changes to their individual language preferences.
From your desktop, sign in to your Slack Enterprise Grid, then click Manage Organization.
Visit the Settings page of the Admin Dashboard.
Click Organization Info.
Under Default Language, choose a language from the menu.
Click Save Changes to finish.
Note: Workspace Owners and Admins can also override the default language, but members will still see most of Slack in their preferred language.
