Mobile notifications

If you have the Slack app installed on your Windows Phone, iOS, or Android device, you can get notifications on the go.

Here’s how mobile notifications work:

  • While the Slack desktop app is open and you're active, we'll keep mobile notifications silent — you're already using the app, so we won't bug you. 🐞
  • When the Slack desktop app is closed, you’ll be notified on your mobile device about the activity you want to keep up with.
