Images can be JPG, GIF, or PNG, up to 128 pixels in width and height, and a maximum 64KB file size. We recommend using a small, square picture, as Slack will resize the image to fit neatly inside a row of text.
Click Save New Emoji. A confirmation message will appear and you can upload your next emoji.
You can also review or delete custom emoji, or set an alias for an existing emoji from the Customize page.
Note: You can't create custom emoji in our mobile apps, but you can still use custom emoji by typing the code.
Keep in mind: Some workspaces may choose to restrict custom emoji uploads to Workspace Owners or Admins. If you’re unable to upload custom emoji, contact a Workspace Owner for help.
Who can use this feature?
By default, allmembers except for guests can use this feature.
