To join a Slack team, you'll need an invitation. 💌 There are a couple of ways to get one:
Join with an approved email address
Some teams will let you create an account with an email address on an approved domain, like @yourcompany.com. Just visit your team’s Sign Up page `yourteam.slack.com/signup`, then enter your email address. Slack will send you an invitation email, and you can follow the steps below.
Get in touch with a Team Admin
If you haven’t received an invitation yet, contact an Administrator on the team and ask them to send (or resend) your invite.
