Troubleshooting

We’re sorry you’re having trouble! Here are some steps you can try:

🌱 Create your Slack account

If you know your Slack URL but don’t know what email address and password to use, you might not have created your individual Slack account yet. For step-by-step help, see Join a Slack workspace.

✅  Double-check your email

If you've already created a Slack account, be sure to use the same email address that's associated with the workspace(s) you're trying to access.

🔎  Find your Slack URL

If your email address and password can’t be found, it is possible you are trying to sign in using the wrong Slack URL. Here’s how to find which workspaces you have an account on:

  1. In browser, visit slack.com/get-started.
  2. Click Join an existing workspace.
  3. Enter your email address.
  4. Click Confirm and we'll send you an email to confirm your address and find workspaces you've joined.

If you have more than one email address, you can repeat the steps above for each one.

Note: While people may have picked the same Slack Name as you, the URL is unique to your workspace.
