Sign in to Slack
To sign in to your Slack account, you’ll need your Slack URL , email address , and password . If you’re unsure about this information, jump to the troubleshooting section below for help !
On desktop, open the Slack app.
Enter your Slack URL , then click Continue . If you’re already signed in to another Slack team, click the plus icon in the Team Switcher bar on the left.
Enter your sign-in email address , then click Continue .
Enter your password and tick the box next to Keep me signed in , if you’d like. Click Sign in . Or, click Email Me a Magic Link and check your email! When the email arrives, click the Sign in to Slack button. The link expires in 24 hours and can only be used to sign in once. 🔗✨
From a web browser, visit slack.com/signin .
Enter your Slack URL and click Continue .
Enter your password and tick the box next to Keep me signed in , if you’d like. Click
Sign in .
On your mobile device, open the Slack app.
Enter your Slack URL , then click Continue . If you’re already signed in to another Slack team, swipe right and click the plus icon in the Team Switcher — click Sign in to another team . Tap
Type password , then enter your password and tap Next .Or, tap Send magic link and check your email! When the email arrives, click the Sign in to Slack button. The link expires in 24 hours and can only be used to sign in once. 🔗✨ Click Launch Slack to open your mobile app.

🌱 Create your Slack account
If you know your Slack URL but don’t know what email address and password to use, you might not have created your individual Slack account yet. For step-by-step help, see Join a Slack team .
🔎 Find your Slack URL
If your email address and password can’t be found, it is possible you are trying to sign in using the wrong Slack URL . Here’s how to find which teams you have an account on:
From a web browser, visit slack.com/signin/find .
Enter your email address , then click Send me a sign-in email .
Check your inbox for an email with your Slack information, including the URL you can use to sign in.
Note: While people may have picked the same Slack Name as your team, the URL is unique to your team.
