Manage who can view analytics

All members have access to analytics by default, but Workspace Owners can change this preference to only Workspace Owners and Workspace Admins from the Analytics section of the Settings page: https://my.slack.com/admin/settings.

On Slack Enterprise Grid, only Org Owners and Org Admins can view analytics from the Admin Dashboard.

Tip: These insights are available so you can understand how people in your workspace use Slack. Be careful not to infer anything which is not captured in the data, like work being done outside of Slack.

Who can use this feature?
  • By default, all members except for guests can view workspace analytics.
Only Org Owners and Org Admins can view analytics for Slack for Enterprise.
  • Available on StandardPlus, and Slack Enterprise Grid. Limited on the Free plan.
