About the Sign in with Slack button
Sign in with Slack is a simple and secure way to sign in to other apps using your Slack account.
Have a Slack account? Then there’s nothing else you need. Slack will prompt you to authorize the service the first time you use it.
Note: Sign in with Slack grants apps you authorize access to your profile information. It does not grant access to other team members’ profile info, or any messages or files in your Slack team.
Sign in quickly and securely
Sign in with Slack works with a growing number of apps. It’s useful because:
you don’t need to create new accounts to use those apps
it makes it quicker and easier to sign in
your account can benefit from security measures such as
two-factor authentication and single sign-on, even if they’re not supported by the app
Tip: You can try Sign in with Slack now with Quip and Figma.
