Join and leave workspaces in your organization

As a member of a Slack Enterprise Grid organization, it's easy to discover and join other workspaces in your organization that are central to your work. 🔍

Keep in mind: You can only discover and join new workspaces if your company is on the Slack Enterprise Grid plan. If that's not the case, read Join a Slack workspace for help.

Find workspaces you can join

  1. Click your workspace name in the top left to open the menu.
  2. Click Find more workspaces
  3. Browse the list of workspaces you can join. To join an open workspace, simply click Join.

Some workspaces may require approval first. Just click Request to Join. If your request to join is accepted, you will receive a Slackbot message to let you know.

Note: Workspace Owners can set their workspace's discoverability preference. Read Manage workspace discovery and access for more.

Psst! Not on Enterprise Grid? Head over to Find your Slack workspaces.
