Trello for Slack

Trello uses boards to organize information and tasks, so you can manage any project and see exactly what's getting done. You have two options for linking Trello to Slack: connect the Trello app or set up Trello Alerts.

Decide which app to use

The Trello app

If you're someone who wants to do it all from Slack — the Trello app is for you! The app makes it easy to add new Trello cards to boards, attach Slack conversations to cards, change due dates, plus join and subscribe to cards and boards. You can even paste Trello links in Slack to see members, descriptions, comments and more.

Trello Alerts

Perhaps you only want to stay up-to-date on Trello activity without having to leave Slack — you're ok with doing all your project management in Trello. If that's you, Trello Alerts is your best bet.
