Trello for Slack
Trello is a visual collaboration tool to help you manage any project. You can link the Trello app and add Trello Alerts to Slack to create a seamless workflow and kickstart your team’s productivity.
Decide which app to use
If you’re someone who wants to do it all from Slack — including adding, joining, and modifying Trello cards — then the Trello app is for you! Perhaps you only want to stay up-to-date on Trello activity without having to leave Slack – you’re ok with doing all your project management in Trello. If that’s you, Trello Alerts is your best bet.
Set up the Trello app
With the Trello app, you can create, join, and modify Trello cards and boards — all from Slack. Here’s how to connect the Trello app to Slack:

. Visit site to install Click the
Add to Slack button. Select a Trello team to link to Slack. If you haven’t yet created a Trello team, you’ll be prompted to do so before continuing.
Select the Slack workspace that Trello can access.
Authorize to complete setup.
Once setup is complete, the Trello bot will send you a message in Slack with more details on how to get going and make the most of the Trello integration.
Set up Trello Alerts
To get updates in Slack when activity occurs on Trello cards, lists, and boards, you can set up Trello Alerts:

Install below the Trello icon.
Click Authenticate your Trello account, then click Allow .
From the drop-down list, choose a channel where Trello notifications will be posted.
Click Add Trello Integration.
Select a Trello board you’d like to see notifications for.
Choose the Trello notifications you’d like to see in Slack.
Customize the display name for Trello Alerts and add a custom icon, if you'd like. Use Preview Message to see how messages will appear in Slack.
To finish setup, click Save Integration.
