Asana is the easiest way for teams to coordinate and manage their work. With the Asana app for Slack, you can turn your conversations into action and create new tasks in Asana — all without leaving Slack.
Install the app
Note: We recently published a new version of the Asana app, so we recommend upgrading if you're using Asana (Legacy).
Install or update the app
Note: If your workspace has the approved apps feature turned on, only a Workspace Owner or Admin will have permission to add apps to Slack.
Visit the Asana app page in Slack's App Directory.
Follow the steps to authenticate your Asana account.
Once you've added the new app, other members of your workspace can authenticate their accounts by using the /asana slash command. Members will be able to import their previous configuration settings to the new version of the app.
