When someone shares a link in your workspace, other members will see a text preview of the web page attached to the message. Workspace Owners and Admins can turn off previews for specific URLs and domains. When links to these websites are shared in Slack, a text preview won't expand.
Turn off previews for specific sites
Hover over a link shared in the desktop app.
Click the close icon in the top left to remove the attachment.
Tick the box next to Disable future attachments from this website, then click Yes, remove to confirm.
View list of blocked previews
Find a list of web pages with link previews turned off in your workspace's settings:
From your desktop, click your workspace name in the top left.
Select Administration from the menu, then Workspace settings.
Click the Attachments tab.
Under Blacklisted Attachments is a list of web pages with previews turned off.
