Microsoft Outlook email add-in for Slack

With the Outlook add-in for Slack, send emails to Slack channels and direct messages (DMs) directly from your inbox. The Outlook add-in can be used with the following clients: Outlook 2016 (or later) for Windows and Mac and Outlook for web. We're hoping to support it on iOS and Android soon!

Please note that the add-in is only available for Office 365. It's not supported for on-premise Microsoft Exchange customers.

Why use the Outlook add-in?

  • Bring important context out of siloed inboxes
  • Facilitate collaboration between teammates
  • Make relevant information visible to all stakeholders

Note: Guests in a workspace can only use this add-in if they have access to Outlook through your company's Office 365 account.

Step 1: Install the Slack add-in to Outlook

  1. Head to the Slack for Outlook page in Microsoft AppSource.
  2. Click Get it now and follow the prompts.

Tip: If you're unable to install the add-in yourself, contact an Office 365 administrator at your company for help.
